Concentric or internally arranged paired torsion enquiries, defined by the inner and outer coil layout and the actual rotational load path.
For an internal or concentric paired torsion requirement, begin with an assembly section showing the position of each coil relative to the common support axis. The product name does not define whether the elements move together or independently. Inner and outer bodies, legs and supports need separate dimensions. Review clearances and torque-angle targets for the specified arrangement rather than assuming a side-by-side double spring is equivalent.
An external parallel arrangement places the bodies beside each other. Use a concentric specification only when the assembly drawing establishes that layout. Compare support and clearance requirements before selecting a paired arrangement.
Define the measurement fixture and angular references for each element. Inspection should address mutual clearance through the working movement and the actual torque transfer at the defined leg contacts.
Product Specification
Use these product-specific inputs to describe your requirement. Final dimensions, material and performance are confirmed against the drawing and operating conditions.
| Specification item | What to define |
|---|---|
| Concentric envelope | Inner and outer coil dimensions, widths and separation. |
| Support interfaces | Shaft, sleeve or housing dimensions and contact regions. |
| Leg geometry | Individual leg forms, free positions and attachment points. |
| Torque and angle | Required torque for each element or the combined assembly. |
| Movement clearance | Rotational limits, axial space and permissible contact. |
Next Design Decisions
Once the spring style is selected, confirm how it works in the assembly, which material suits the environment, how it will be manufactured and which dimensions and performance points should be controlled on the drawing.

Product Questions
No. Common double-torsion layouts can place bodies side by side. A concentric requirement needs its own assembly section and support specification.
Only if the drawing defines that shared reference. Otherwise state the free and working positions of each element separately.
RFQ
A drawing is ideal. If you do not have one yet, provide the dimensions, load or torque, travel, environment and expected quantity that matter in the assembly.
