Disc Springs / Belleville Washers
Customized disc-spring variants with slots, contact flats or special interfaces for compact axial force where a standard Belleville disc does not match the mating geometry.
Slotted and contact disc springs start from the same compact conical-disc concept as Belleville springs but add application-specific features. Slots can change flexibility and load distribution; contact flats or tabs can control where force enters the assembly. These features make drawing-based review essential.
Laser cutting, stamping, machining and forming routes can produce different edge conditions and residual stress. The chosen process should be matched to thickness, volume and fatigue requirement, followed by functional checking of the finished geometry.

Next Design Decisions
Once the spring style is selected, confirm how it works in the assembly, which material suits the environment, how it will be manufactured and which dimensions and performance points should be controlled on the drawing.
Applications
Review best-fit uses, assembly constraints and situations where another spring style may be a better choice.

Spring steel and stainless grades are common starting points. Slot roots and formed contact features may control fatigue, so material condition and edge quality should be reviewed together.

Product Questions
Not safely. Slots and contact features change stiffness and stress distribution, so the modified part needs its own load review.
They help when the assembly needs force introduced at defined areas rather than around the full disc edge.
RFQ
A drawing is ideal. If you do not have one yet, provide the dimensions, load or torque, travel, environment and expected quantity that matter in the assembly.
