Custom Spring Product Family
Custom wave springs for compact preload and axial force where installation height is limited, including single-turn, multi-turn and wave spring washer designs.
Wave Springs
Multi-turn axial wave springs specified by working height, required load, bore clearance and shaft clearance.
Wave Springs
Multi-turn wave springs with flat shim-end contact features, specified for the required seat interface and axial load-height range.
Wave Springs
Interlaced multi-turn wave spring configurations, specified by the constituent wave geometry and the required axial load-height response.
Wave Springs
Straight wave-formed spring lengths for linear cavities, specified by support layout, active length and load at installed deflection.
Wave Springs
A multi-turn wave spring for more axial travel than a single-turn wave form can provide while keeping the package lower than many conventional coil springs.
Wave Springs
Custom Nested Wave Springs manufactured to your drawing, dimensions, load or torque, material, working environment and production requirements.
Wave Springs
Custom Single-Turn Gap Wave Springs manufactured to your drawing, dimensions, load or torque, material, working environment and production requirements.
Wave Springs
Single-turn axial wave springs with overlapping ends, defined by working height, end freedom and radial installation clearance.
Wave Springs
A single-turn wave spring for light axial preload and take-up where a conventional coil spring would occupy too much height.
Wave Springs
Circular wave-formed expanders for radial loading, specified by installed diameter, cavity geometry and the required outward force.
Wave Springs
A washer-like wave spring for light preload, tolerance take-up and rattle control in very shallow axial spaces.
Wave Springs
Custom Wavo Round-Wire Wave Springs manufactured to your drawing, dimensions, load or torque, material, working environment and production requirements.
Product Family Overview
Wave springs create axial force through waves formed into flat or edge-wound material. They are often considered when a conventional coil spring requires too much axial space, but the usable travel, radial wall and groove geometry must still support the required load without overstressing the material.
Selection
Each wave-spring form balances travel, load, radial space and assembly method differently.
Useful for short travel and compact preload where a single wave turn can provide the required force within the groove or shoulder space.
Multiple turns increase available travel and can replace a taller coil spring in selected axial-space-constrained assemblies.
Washer-style forms provide light preload or take-up over short travel and are sized around the mating fastener, bearing or housing.
Custom Manufacturing Data
Most wave spring projects are drawing-based because radial wall, number of waves, turns and working height are selected together. The category capability data provides a practical screening envelope rather than a universal stock series.
Custom RFQ
The most important inputs are the available groove or annular space and the force required through the actual working travel.
